Good Festival Terms & Conditions 2024

  • On successful application of a pitch, payment will be in full via BACS as directed by the festival organiser.
  • In the event of a cancellation by a trader outside 14 days of the festival, payment will be refunded minus 25%.
  • In the event of a cancellation by a trader within 14 days of the festival, payment will not be refunded.
  • If the festival is cancelled by the festival organiser, pitch fees will be refunded or rolled to the following year.
  • Traders are not permitted to sub-let part or all of their pitch.
  • Good Festival cannot be held responsible if trading levels are affected by bad weather, COVID/pandemic or pitch location.
  • Good Festival do not accept liability for any loss or damage to persons or property/equipment.
  • All traders/individuals/companies/organisations need to supply evidence at the time of application of public liability and employers liability insurance (if applicable) of at least £5 million.
  • All traders/individuals/companies/organisations need to supply an appropriate risk assessment.
  • All traders/individuals/companies/organisations must comply with all fire, electrical, health, safety & environmental laws.  Failure to do so will result in the stall/pitch being closed down and the trader/individual/company/organisation being asked to leave the festival.
  • Any stall covering/gazebo must be of fire proof material and marked as such.
  • Electrical equipment must be PAT tested with certification available for inspection if requested.
  • For catering traders/individuals/companies/organisations proof of Health & Hygiene certification must be given to the festival organiser on application.
  • Only Good Festival branded water can be sold at the event.  Please speak to the festival organiser if you wish to sell water, no stallholder is entitled to sell other water.
  • Traders selling alcohol for consumption both on and off site need to discuss this at the time of booking with the festival organiser.
  • Good Festival is a no glass site.  You may not sell drinks in glass containers.
  • All traders/individuals/companies/organisations should demonstrate a commitment to reducing their ecological and environmental footprint by not using any single use plastics.
  • All traders/individuals/companies/organisations are expected to keep their own trading area clean and tidy.  All waste must be removed from the festival on leaving the site.
  • All marquee/tent/self build structures must be of sound construction with suitable anchorage and secured correctly.  Any exposed ropes or stakes must be marked and/or roped off.
  • No amplified sound should form part of your stall unless agreed in advance with the festival organiser.
  • Due to the nature of the festival site, vehicle movement is prohibited for the duration of the festival opening hours.
  • Stallholder positioning is at the discretion of the festival organiser.  Whilst requests will be considered, the festival layout is at the discretion of the festival organiser.  No traders are permitted to move pitch or extend beyond the allocated space.  Traders are not permitted to sell goods outside their designated pitch or outside of the festival trading hours.
  • Good Festival trading hours are 10:00am to 4.00pm.  All pitches must remain open and manned for the duration of the trading hours.
